Jalapeno Popcorn

I am about to share with you my number one favorite snack! I love it so much that I almost don't want to share it. I'm sorry but its mine! I know, I know I cant keep things this good from you guys!

This Jalapeno Popcorn is so dangerous. Its one of those snacks that you end up eating the whole bowl of! It is the perfect combo of spicy, salty, and crunchy! Right up my alley. A feisty little snack if you will!

To be honest this popcorn was the only thing that I could think about last night while watching the Golden Globes. Well that and the fact that I feel so lucky to live in a world where women are starting to feel more comfortable expressing themselves! Comparable right? Jalapeno Popcorn = Women's Rights! Maybe not but I bet Oprah would love this snack!

One very important step that I want to point out is the combo of the ghee and butter. Don't skip this! Well you can if you really want but it wont taste as good. This combo makes it taste just like movie theater popcorn! Its my little secret. And now its yours too!

Jalapeno Popcorn-

1/3 cup Popcorn Kernels
1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
2 Tablespoons Ghee 
2 Tablespoons Butter 
1 Jalapeno

In a small sauce pan melt butter and ghee. Cut the jalapeno in half. Put the jalapeno in the melted butter and let simmer for about 10 min or until popcorn is done. While the jalapeno butter is simmering put the avocado oil in a large pot on medium/high heat. Add popcorn kernels and put the lid on the pot. Let the popcorn pop until there is about 3 seconds in between hearing a pop. You will feel it when its done. Add half of the popcorn to a bowl and drizzle half of the jalapeno butter over the top. Sprinkle with salt. Repeat this step with the remaining popcorn and butter.
