Honey Pomegranate Baked Brie

As you should all know by now I am all about the lazy girl recipes that are sure to impress! And this Honey Pomegranate Baked Brie is just that! It took me about 15 minutes to toss this one together and look at how decadent it looks! Plus its festive AF! Am I too old to say AF? Probably but I am also too lazy to backspace so I'm leaving it there!

There are three ingredients involved (well four if you count the bread) and it tastes like heaven on a plate! I mean who doesn't want delicious ooey gooey cheese topped with sweet honey and pomegranates! It even sounds fancy! Make this for your next party and people will think you slaved away!

The textures going on here are perfect! The soft cheese and the crunchy pomegranates on top of the crispy toasted bread create the perfect mouth feel! (Let's add mouth feel to that list of phrases that are super weird but also unavoidable! I will put it right under nut milk!) And this appetizer pairs perfectly with a glass of prosecco! So cheers!

Honey Pomegranate Baked Brie-

Wedge of Brie
2 Tablespoons of honey + more for drizzling
1/2 cup pomegranates
Chunks of bread or any other vehicle you wish to use!

Pre- heat oven to 425 degrees. Put pomegranates and honey in a small pan and simmer for ten minutes stirring frequently until it becomes a jam like consistency. While pomegranates are simmering put brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until gooey (about 8 min). I like mine really ooey and gooey so I got about 10 min. Place brie on a plate and top with the pomegranate/honey mixture. Drizzle with more honey!
