Everything But The Bagel Cheddar Drop Biscuits

Who doesn't love a flaky buttery biscuit?! There is something about these biscuits that make you feel all cozy inside! The combo of the everything bagel spice and the big pockets of cheddar cheese takes these biscuits to the next level! They are like a Sunday morning for your mouth!

Everything bagel spice is really having a moment right now and I hope it never ends... why have we not realized this sooner? There is nothing that doesn't taste better with this combo of spices sprinkled on top! Pop corn, deviled eggs, avo toast, you name it! Even biscuits!

Everything but the Bagel Cheddar Drop Biscuits-

Yeilds- 6 Biscuits

2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
4 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Spice
1/2 Cup Cold Unsalted Butter (cut into small pieces)
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Cold Milk

3 Tablespoons Melted Butter
More Bagel Spices

Pre- Heat the oven to 425 degrees. 
In a medium mixing bowl mix together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and everything bagel spice. 
Using a fork or pastry cutter, cut butter into flour mixture until the mixture is crumbly. Mix in the cheese. Mix in the cold milk until just combined.
Drop biscuits (about 1/4 cup of dough per biscuit) onto a baking sheet lined in parchment paper. 
Melt the 3 Tablespoons of butter and brush on top of each biscuit. Sprinkle with bagel spices. 
Bake at 425 degrees for about 13 minutes. 

I think these biscuits would be perfect made into a breakfast sandwich! Imagine a crispy piece of bacon and fluffy scrambled eggs sandwiched between these flaky biscuits! Don't forget the hot sauce and a glass of prosecco. Yum!
