Maca No Bake Cookies

No. Bake. Cookies. MACA. NO. BAKE. COOKIES. The End. But for real, is there anything better than a no bake cookie?! Yep... Maca No Bakes!! Your welcome!

I grew up eating these chewy delicious treats and loved every minute of it! Of course back then they were filled with disgusting ingredients. I have taken this childhood obsession and refreshed it for you guys making it a no guilt indulgence!

You know that feeling when something is so chocolatey that your mouth gets super dry and you can hardly chew anymore? No? Just me? Maybe thats because I ate like four of these in one sitting. Go ahead Judge Judy.. I know what you are thinking right now. Just wait until you try them!

These are the perfect dessert for "that time of the month". Not only are they so chocolatey that you will forget that you want to rip your ovaries out but the Maca actually helps balance your hormones!

Maca is naturally “high in minerals (calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc), sterols (6 found), up to 20 essential fatty acids, lipids, fiber, carbohydrates, protein, and amino acids.” Maca is often recommended to those with adrenal fatigue as it nourishes them and reduces stress hormones.

So yeah, I bet you aren't judging me anymore!

And to top it all off they are so easy to make! I seriously made these in like 10 minutes.

Let me recap this for you!

Pure chocolate goodness + Hormone balancing goodness + 10 min = No more mega bitch!

I think we all win here!

Maca No Bake Cookies-

  • 1 Cup Sunflower Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Honey
  • 6 Tablespoons Cacao Powder
  • 4 Tablespoons Maca Powder
  • 2 1/4 Cups Gluten Free Rolled Oats
  • Coarse Sea Salt

In a large pot melt Sunflower Butter, Coconut Oil, and Honey. Add Cacao and Maca then mix in the Oats. Drop large scoops onto wax paper. Sprinkle w/ Sea Salt. Let cool. Eat four cookies (JK!) Transfer to an air tight container and store in the refrigerator.

See its that easy!! Enjoy!

  1. I totally just tried to make a very similar recipe the other night and I failed miserably. I'm not sure where I went wrong. They were too runny. Does that mean I did not boil them for long enough?
