Crispy Cinnamon Cayenne Chickpeas

I love a sweet and spicy combo more than almost anything in the world! Like I live for it... and that is why I am obsessed with these Crispy Cinnamon Cayenne Chickpeas (such a mouthful, literally and figuratively) and I have a feeling you will be too!

I am always looking for healthy on the go snacks that I can toss in my bag and take to work with me. These have been my go to lately. I love having a handful in the afternoon. The cinnamon and cayenne combo tricks your tastebuds into thinking you are really indulging when in reality its just a chickpea!

Crispy Cinnamon Cayenne Chickpeas-

1 Can chickpeas
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
A sprinkle of cinnamon
A sprinkle (or two) of cayenne

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Drain and rinse the chickpeas then let them dry on a paper towel. Place on a lined baking sheet and cook for 1 hour. Toss in bowl with olive oil and honey. Put back on baking sheet and sprinkle cinnamon and cayenne. Bake for 10 minutes.
